Cell Fone..... then, today n tomo.....

I hv been wondering over the past few days bout the usage of my cell fone.... and then i drifted smoothly into the past.... some yrs back wen i got my first cell fone.... and fones after tht.... and i found a typical pattern which i will trace it out today..... :)

my first one was nokia 3350.... the only nokia i ever carried.... bought it in my second yr engg and had very lil sms space... it was given to me to b in touch with home... and was allowed to carry it to my college... but the college didnt allow it :D so it was tht secrecy tht was maintained while callin from college and without ny fear when outside. the usage was only sms n calls... thts wht it supported then :D

time went by and i graduated.... got into my masters and it was time tht i switched my cell fone... and so i did.... went for my first samsung... sgh-s500... a cute lil flip fone... with colors.... :)
it was then the usage had changed.... still the smses ruled..... this time it changed from plain text messages like "where r u?" to fwds.... may it b jokes, some senti 4 liner, some targetted friendly n philo mssgs :D not to forget the special good mornin n gud nite mssgs :)

another use of the cell fones then was a missd call... it just meant u r missin tht person ... hehehe exchanged it a lot.... sometimes alternately... returnin the missd calls with more missd ones :) some time of the day was reserved to remind frnds tht i miss them.... and expecting to get back a prompt reminder from them of the same :) the normal usage of the calls was kept to a minimum and used only for special purposes :D

then it was time for samsung d-500 ... a sexy sliding piece.... with many more options.... unfortunately it was taken away from me lately and am still sad bout it :( the rule was not to call nyone.... not to send sms to nyone..... just receive calls and smses.... since the payment was in Euros :D only local calls to local friends were made n tht to askin... hv u got today's groceries!!?? :D the habit formed there continued in india as well.... so the usage had changed.... calls only wen required.... and sms almost negligible.... tht too to negligible ppl....

after the loss came another sliding one.... e-250... coming to think of it.... am into the multiples of 250! :D well the usage has again changed to simple ttext messgs and calls hv increased since it easier to tlk than to keep typing :D

all said ....my cell fone usage was at its best with s500.... those were incidently the best days i ever lived in....after tht .......... its never been so lively.... never waited lookin at the cell fone expcting somethin.... its now a plain professional approach towads the calls... where u get a surprise or two once a while.... which r still very delightful :) a cell fone then was a tool to b in touch with frnds and even use it to express oneslf..... now its just a means to communicate and set reminders.... :)

who knos bout the future... :) not bout the models.... not bout the usage... nothin.....

but one thing ccan b easily concluded.... a man's persona can b analyzed lookin at his usage of the cell fone... next time u wanna kno someone.... get hold of his cell fone n skim thru it :) a cell fone really tlks :)
