A Science Fiction Case...
i am a complete movie freak... and a gr8 fan of the movie "The Matrix" and its sequels. after watchin the movie i couldnt help thinkin.... is tht thing possible?? well... human machine interface changin to human machine interaction changin further to human machine fight!! hmmm... i believe it can happen!
given the situation today when we are developing faster machines.... there is a group of people developing the intelligence for these fast machines. terminator showed humanoids fighting with humans... but matrix had robotic bugs... really big and ruthless killers. machines dont hv emotions... they run on things like logic which is programmed into them. if this logic says protect and save.... these things will do it... if told to kill... they will kill!!! following blindly the programs doesnt make them dumb... but shows insensitiveness and unemotional and the "logical" attitude of machines.
AI as its called ... the intelligence of the machine is being developed. one day your washing machine will shout at you for overloading it with stinking clothes. your desktop will ridicule you for making programming errors and many such stuff... basically intelligence will let a machine think and act all by himself!!
but one doesnt think... with intelligence... these machines wud be less mathematical.... less logical.... the scenarios in the movie shows how machines turn against humans and try to annihilate humans... the act of fighting is termed as anger, avenge etc... if machines cud develop those things... cant they develop love, sympathy and peace??? it is a tricky question to answer which only machines can answer...
as of now... i think we are facing a nebelous future of machinekind... not aware of how it will evolve and behave.... and can only hope that the matrix and terminator scenarios wont come true !
Movie makers has showed us the dark side of AI.... taking the que from natural intelligence of humans, i guess, in which we all are out to destroy whatever we are seeing..... for a moment i will leave with a thought.... on a brighter side....
God made humans intelligent.... humans made a mess out of it!!!
Humans are making machines intelligent... mebbe machines will put things back in place :)
